PHIGRID Common Questions

1. Why do I need project management?

With PHIGRID’s project management solution, you can better manage budgets and resources, communicate and collaborate more effectively, as well as manage and share evidence in one secure, easy-to-use, virtual environment.  With a more complete perspective on project costs and resource requirements, it can help you be more proactive in your overall case management.  The open architecture offers easy integration with other software systems for enhanced management, reduced duplication of efforts, and improved risk management.  PHIGRID lets clients spend more time managing their cases and less time managing their systems.

4. How much training is necessary to get up and running with the program?

After the initial meeting where we establish your in-house goals and objectives, we will send one of our representatives to set-up the system.  This is an opportunity for us to work together to customize the program to your specific needs so it’s important to dedicate the right individuals to work with us.  This takes about 1-2 days as we learn your company’s procedures and protocols and establish rules and reports.  Then we will spend 2-3 days training the employees you deem appropriate on how to use the system.  After your users have had an opportunity to work with the system for 1-2 weeks, we’ll organize a follow-up meeting to answer questions, solve problems, address concerns, etc.

2. What is PHIGRID's competitive advantage?

The open architecture design means you can easily integrate it with your existing systems for maximum efficiency. The system's flexibility and ability to learn your processes and preferences makes it ideal for virtually any process.  It automatically creates defensible audit trails and a systematic way for documenting your processes so you don't have to worry about losing organizational knowledge if an employee leaves or is out of the office. PHIGRID is ideal for legal, corporate or government applications, either as a cloud solution or behind your firewall.

5. How does security work?

The PHIGRID solution combines ease of use with optimal security.  We understand the sensitive nature of the information with which you work.  That’s why we’ve built in case- and role-based security, so the same person working on multiple cases can have task-specific access on one and full project perspective on another.  The bottom-line is that with PHIGRID you have complete control over your processes, information and security.

3. How is the system set up?

PHIGRID has five modules -- Administration, Dashboard, Case Management, Data Management and Report Analysis.  These are the building blocks to the system but the foundation is the Administration module which gives you complete control for setting up a project, allocating resources (both human and computing), assigning tasks, and importing the necessary data and documents. You also have the flexibility to define security permissions for each unique project base on responsibility and roles.
